What are Phosphates?
Phosphates are present in many products we use every day. When introduced into pool water phosphates are a huge part of Algae growth. For algae to grow it requires water, sunlight, and Phosphates.
How should I correct this problem?
The first step to algae prevention is using a phosphate remover. By getting your water tested at the Swimming Pool Center we can tell you you’re exact phosphate levels. Once we have those levels there are two products that we could recommend to remove the phosphates. By using this product as a one time fix and then a weekly maintenance you will prevent the problem before it ever starts.
Pitch: “If I could sell you one product that will make it so you never have algae again would you buy it?” Customer: “Well of course.” “Once we get your phosphate levels below 100 we will have you use phosphate 3000 on a weekly maintenance and you will never get algae again.”
How do I use the chemical?
Phosphate 3000:
1.Get your water tested at the Swimming Pool Center for phosphates to determine your initial dose needed.
2.Add 3oz phosphate 3000 per 250 ppb phosphate level and 10000 gallons.
3.For weekly maintenance add 2oz per 10000 gallons per week.
Phosphate 9000:
1.Get your water tested at the Swimming Pool Center for phosphates to determine your initial dose needed.
2.Add 1 oz phosphate 9000 per 250ppb phosphate level and 10000 gallons.
3.For weekly maintenance add 1 oz per 10000 gallons per week
